and offers humankind multiple other benefits in terms of ecosystem functions
and resilience to climate change, as well as other perturbations.
Biodiversity is essential for maintaining ecological processes such as
nutrient cycling and climate regulation that keep Earth habitable by humans. On the other
hand plant taxonomy is the science that finds, identifies, describes,
classifies & names plants. It is one of the main branches of Botany.
